The Bastilla appetizer is a huge and gorgeous round of filo dough filled with a chicken/egg/almond mix spiced pefectly with cinnamon & turmeric. It comes on a bed of Israeli (large pearl) couscous with dried fruit and harissa, and it could have been my main course if I hadn't also been craving the cassoulet. My wife had the roasted beets first (outstanding!). Her main course (halibut) was "the best piece of fish I've ever had" - meaty but light and moist, and quite generous. Equal attention to guests and details are routine for the staff, so it was just another perfect Saturday night out.More infoSpring Mill CafePrice: Moderate• French• Conshohocken•4.8

Our server got a little overwhelmed with tables but the rest of the staff did a great job to check in. We ordered the whipped feta/ bread and the olives for an appetizers, and although not a fan of green olives- these weren’t bad! We ordered the tortellini and the bolognese for our main entrees and they did not disappoint. Definitely finish with the Crème Brûlée but I’m excited to try their other desserts as well. Everything was amazing.More infoBistro RomanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Society Hill•4.8

The service and pacing of the meal make this place shine - it is so relaxing to dine here! The staff keep glasses full. The pacing of the meal is excellent - they leave plenty of time for each dish to shine. Tables are spaced out nicely as well, further contributing to a relaxed dining experience. We had a 5:45 res on a Saturday night and stayed for about 2 hours as a party of 2 ordering apps, drinks & entrees. For a ladies night out, we tried the bread, swordfish crudo, Caesar salad & swordfish Milanese. Each course surpassed our expectations. The caesar salad was HUGE and delicious - definitely something you could split as a large side for 2 or a small side for 4. Excellent wine and cocktail selection as well. They also had some mocktails on the menu that looked tasty. Absolutely thrilled! Would return for a celebrationMore infoLittle WaterPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Center City•4.6
- SSallyAtlantic City / South Jersey Shore •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDelicious from start to finish! We raved about the house made biscuits which were were impossibly made better with a touch of the honey sweetened butter. Next, the Caesar salad was tasty but had a bit too much dressing. We were offered a special of bone-in ribeye which had the perfect sear and was cooked exactly to temperature. It was juicy and flavorful without needing any other accoutrements. We did, however add a lobster tail which was also absolute perfection. The stuffed hash browns (caramelized onions and a cheese I can’t recall) were a perfect blend of savory, crunchy and creamy but the Brussel sprouts weren’t anything to remember. And finally, dessert. The baked Alaska - Worth. Every. Calorie. The service was impeccable and friendly without being intrusive or overbearing. The atmosphere was refined yet comfortable. A beautiful experience all around.More infoButcher & SingerPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Center City•4.9

Let's just say she would have been pleased with the outing and would have come up with ways for us to come back! Thank you for helping us remember our friend in such a positive atmosphere.More infoAkwaaba Tea SalonPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• West Philadelphia•5
