- EEdwardLondon •25 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDelighted to find that the set lunch was on offer (it being a Monday - the website and menu implied not) -it's excellent value. Though easy for the bill to mount up with extras. The English sparkling wine was a bit of a surprise - I think it might be good to warn customers. We really liked it (once we'd adjusted), but I can imagine it might not suit those looking for a glass of Prosecco. The shallots starter was really excellent, as was the ragu main (though the portion was on the small side). The bitter leaf side salad was delicious and the bread was tasty if not exceptional (good butter). I found the rhubarb and Campari sorbet a bit tricky - I'm not sure if the pairing really works. The staffing was good, if a little vague at times. Lots of really nice things coming out of the kitchen on other tables (the pork rib and the chips looked great as did the ham and the ravioli) and the whole atmosphere is really delightful. Would like to come back of an evening.More infoCloth RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Traditional French• Farringdon•4.8

The food was fresh, the drinks were lovely too and the service was good and attentive. I would come back again! The restaurant was a little loud but at least it was busy so you know the food will be good!More infoSticks'n'Sushi - Covent GardenPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Covent Garden•4.6

The ambiance is simply breathtaking, reminiscent of an art gallery. Oversized statues of Medusa and Pegasus, coupled with dramatic plasterwork cascading from the ceiling, create a truly unique and captivating atmosphere. The background music, expertly curated by a DJ, is subtle and sophisticated, allowing for easy conversation. The bar is perfectly illuminated for photo opportunities, and every detail of the restaurant's design is simply stunning. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. A welcoming doorman was followed by attentive staff who graciously accepted our coats and escorted us to our table. Throughout the evening, we were expertly attended to, ensuring every need was anticipated. The food was a masterpiece. The beet salad was a symphony of flavors, while the pan-seared short rib was cooked to perfection. And the dessert? The pan-fried cookie with ice cream was an absolute indulgence, gooey and delicious. The wine selection was extensive and impressive, with knowledgeable sommeliers providing invaluable guidance. Bacchanalia is more than just a restaurant; it's an unforgettable sensory experience.More infoBacchanaliaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Mayfair•4.4
