- MMariSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined todayI'd long wanted to dine at Musso & Frank Grill and finally had my chance tonight. It's an L.A. classic that's turned out elegant comfort food and delectable martinis for 105 years. My husband and I were not disappointed: the restaurant's storied history, ambience, food, and service all combined to make a memorable dining experience. We started with cocktails (a St. George Terroir martini for me, a Fern Dell for him), the baked escargot, and the wedge salad — all delicious (I especially enjoyed the house-made bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad). For our mains, my husband ordered the Saturday special: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with vegetables (diced carrots — too many, he thought — and peas) and mashed potatoes. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful! I had the NY Strip, cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. We shared the baby broccolini, which was grilled and had a wonderful char. Our waiter Leonardo brought us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a candle, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. We had a delightful experience and look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank!More infoMusso & Frank GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hollywood•4.8
- FfaithLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoTried Mrs. fish for the first time for anniversary reservations and I loved it. The ambience is gorgeous and the art on the wall gives the best finishing touches to the interior decor. The food was 10/10 everything was very flavorful. Every single worker went above and beyond to make sure our visit was enjoyable, I definitely have to give them credit. We came during happy hour so everything was at a really good price, quality of the food was an amazing and the service makes me likely to come back! - NNicoleLos Angeles •11 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. There are so many "fancy" restaurants in Los Angeles where the food is disappointing, but this was not one of them. Having known about Republique for many years and seeing it on many "best" lists I was prepared to be disappointed, but it met my expectations. My parents and I were very pleased with our meal, the service, and the ambience which is beautiful. It qualifies as one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Los Angeles, and is deserving of its designation as one of LA's top restaurants.More infoRepubliquePrice: Very Expensive• French• Hollywood•4.7
