The food continues to be well prepared. During the winter you do need to dress warmly.More infoValley Green InnPrice: Expensive• American• Chestnut Hill•4.5
- LLawrencePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe mashed potatoes were a bit too salty, but otherwise, the meal was excellent. Our server, Conor, took great care of our table. This is a great place for special occasions. I would also recommend the Pineville Tavern for a regular meal. By the way, the side dishes on the Christmas menu were mostly potatoes. This may have been the best way to handle holiday dinners. Best wishes to the staff and serversMore infoThe Pineville TavernPrice: Moderate• American• New Hope•4.3

- IIanVIPNew York City •445 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe really enjoyed our dinner at the Joseph Ambler Inn. The butternut squash soup and shrimp cocktail appetizers were absolutely delicious. Not to be out done by the scallops and Chilean Seabass entrées which were just out of this world. The butter cake, flan and chocolate ice cream were a perfect ending to an absolutely "top-notch" dinner – kudos to the chef! What really made our dinner fun and even more enjoyable was our awesome server Tina. She had a smile that would light up a room and she kept us entertained all evening long with her phenomenal sense of humor. Thank you for an awesome evening Tina !!!More infoJoseph Ambler InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• North Wales•4.7

I asked if he ever had escargots as a special and he told me to let him know when we’d be back and he’d have escargots for us. When I booked a table next time, I mentioned this in the opentable comments section. When we arrived, the hostess let us know that Chef made escargots for us !!! It was phenomenal and unique.
