Best Historic Restaurants in Granville Island

Another fabulous meal! Loved the Caesar salad, followed by delicious scallops, cooked beautifully. My dining partner had the lobster bisque and Sablefish, also very tasty. We shared crème brûlée and a berry Pavlova for dessert. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Our server was good, very helpful with helping me find gluten free options and suggestions for courses.

I went there for my husband's birthday, and it was a beautiful experience. Our server, Peter, was very good at his job. He knew what he was doing, was friendly, made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious. The ambiance was perfect. I would highly recommend dining at Gotham.

Excellent service (Sophie), and food. They have a gluten free fryer, so although they don’t mention GF on the menu, the majority of their items were or could be made GF.

Cannot recommend Fiorino more.Fantastic meal and service. Started with Negronis, Insalata Caterina and Carpaccio. The salad was fresh, the dressing a little briny that paired perfectly with the nuts and cheese. The carpaccio was like butter; the arugula added the peppery punch that balanced the creamy red wine mayo. We then had the Polpo e Nduja which was an absolute treasure. The octopus was the best I have ever had (sorry Nonna). Mind bogglingly tender. Paired with the perfectly rendered porkbelly and slightly bitter rapini. I could have easily eaten 6 more of these and taken some to go. Added the Fritto Misto which I normally would not order but must admit was perfectly seasoned and all components cooked to perfection. The service was timely, professional and friendly. It was a bit loud at first due to a couple of happy large groups (can't really complain about people having a good time) but as those parties left the acoustics improved. Best meal of our trip thus far. Go, you won't regret it.

Peking duck is a must have but waiter’s suggestions were somewhat disappointing. The spicy Ma la beef was not very complimentary with the other dishes.
