Jack Timmons grew up in Texas and has lived in Seattle for over three decades. In 2012, he attended BBQ Summer Camp at the Meat Sciences department of Texas A&M, then toured many historic barbecue temples of Central Texas. Returning to Seattle, he bought an offset smoker, imported some post oak, mesquite and hickory, and started the Seattle Brisket Experience.After more than a year of practicing the art of barbecue, and serving old-school, succulent smoked meats to thousands of Northwest BBQ fans at ‘BBQ Raves’, Jack opened his first restaurant in the South of Downtown (SoDo) area of Seattle – Jack’s BBQ in 2014.At our newest location on the border of Bellevue and Redmond, we serve authentic Central Texas Barbecue with Brisket, Ribs, Sausage and Chicken.     Dinner was absolutely fantastic! We started with the meatball plate then had the bolognese and Sunday gravy for dinner. We heard the portions were generous but holy cannoli they are HUGE! The bolognese was easily the largest portion I've ever had at an Italian restaurant and triple the size of Pink Doors portion. The Sunday gravy was not just in a bowl, this was the size of a punch bowl. My husband couldn't even finish half of it. Considering the quality of the food with the portion size and the price point our dinner was phenomenal. We have found our new fav Italian restaurant and are truly looking forward to visiting again.

    Carmine’s is one of the best food experiences we have had in awhile! Service was exceptional, the lobster pasta special was a dream, the fillet with gnocchi was lovely. And the bread pudding was amazing. Thank you for a great evening. We will be back!

    We have been to Stella’s before for their holiday offerings and have not been disappointed. We decided to try their Christmas Eve dinner and we were served 4 courses of very delicious food. The prime rib dinner was particularly outstanding. What was different this time around was the service, however. They seemed to be short staffed and it took some time after we sat time for us to be acknowledged. After we received our food, no one bothered checking in with us to see whether it was to our liking. We ordered wine and it finally arrived after our dessert! My wife and I have eaten at Stella’s many times. We have always enjoyed the food and the service as being outstanding! I will just chalk this up to being a one off.

    Our waiter, David made this experience for us. We had a wonderful time. The food was plentiful but honestly could have been fresher. Also some things didn’t work…consider sticking to the classics like a cucumber sandwich without modifications. It’s a staple of every high tea for a reason.

    We love Jack’s. It’s true Texas barbque that always delivers. We tried the steaks and Cesar and they were delicious. We’ve also taken their smoking classes and they are well worth the time!
