- DDanielleNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined todayThe food was terrific. We arrived for our reservation early and enjoyed some HH drinks and apps at the bar. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu. We ended up having dinner at the bar too and taking the recommendations of the bar staff. I would certainly return and recommend this restaurant to others.More infoCoast Bar & Grill – CharlestonPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Charleston•4.4

- MMegVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEric was very helpful with my gluten allergies. My husband ordered Shrimp and Grits and the waiter recommended the mini versus dinner size portion which is quite large. My Risotto and scallops were delicious. The Pear salad was quite good and was plentiful with cranberries, gorgonzola and toasted pecans. The ambiance was delightful with a piano man playing Christmas Carols.More infoThe Swamp Fox at the Francis Marion HotelPrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown Charleston•4.4
- AAnitaSouth Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a group of 8 for our annual oncology nurses board meeting during the holidays. The staff was great, very welcoming and accommodating. The food was excellent. Everyone at our table was a first time visitor at this restaurant and all said they would return. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the ambiance, food and service. I will return.More infoVincent Chicco'sPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown Charleston•4.4
- SBSarahBWest Palm Beach •6 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Oct 2024Let me start by saying Mike is an incredible host, server, chef, and historian. This was a one of a kind experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in Charleston. While it is not a conventional restaurant, Mike takes you on a culinary journey of 18th and 19th century low country cuisine, keeping things as authentic as possible while still appealing to our modern palates. Each dish was carefully crafted and thoughtfully prepared. The table was full of strangers, but we all got to chat and listen to Mike’s wonderful presentation of Charleston history to go along with each dish. Our specific meal was centered around Legacy families of Charleston, so we enjoyed dishes each family would have also enjoyed. Mike deserves all of the attention and reservations he can handle. As he says, he’s one of Charleston’s best kept secrets, and I believe that to be true because I had a fantastic experience.More infoHistoric Charleston Supper ClubPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.6
