Best Historic Restaurants in Costa Mesa

Incredible. I can’t believe I have never been here before, but I understand why so many people say it’s their favorite restaurant! Bravo!

Table was ready when when got there. Surprisedly not booked-out. So we received a 4 seater for 2 people. Thank goodness because the Thanksgiving prix-fix menu was insane and took up the entire table. Besides turkey, ham plus you could add prime rib for $10.00. Mashed potatoes green beans casserole yams mac and cheese all of the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Huge to go boxes which were definitely needed. Wish I could remember our waiter name whom was an absolute pleasure. Hate to say it but one of the best Thanksgiving meals ever. Sorry mom.

Upstairs, early in evenings is where we prefer due to noise....it was so elegant and great!! Waiter was delightful and food impeccably done and tasty. I highly reccomend this Restaurant. We have been eating here with family and friends for over 30 years. Young and Older love it!!!

We are all pleasantly surprised that the Beachcomber wasn’t just beach food.. The cocktails were yummly and the food was delicious. We had the ahi nachos, lobster rolls & artichoke as appetizers. Main dishes included cioppino, short rib, ahi over zucchini spaghetti and shrimp linguine. The best was their dessert.. The brownie that had a huge toasted marshmallow on top.. So good and the beignets we also tasty. Potions for all foods were healthy. We will return during the day to enjoy the scenery.. Hearing the waves were just as great and relaxing.

Perla was amazing. Food was so delicious. I brought a party of 20 from my company and they were so impressed. Thank you for your service and good food and drinks. The night was special!
