This is a one-of-a-kind Skybar experience allowing guests a close view of our 149 year old firehouse, bell tower and original stained glass windows. A unique cross between a chop house and Crudo bar, Hook & Ladder features Certified A5 Japanese wagyu beef that will melt in your month. Dry aged Steak offerings including 32 days dry aged Porterhouse (28oz), 32 days aged Tomahawk Ribeye (40oz) that will taste decidedly beefy, much like a rare roast beef, while also taking on subtler hints of other delicious flavors. Crudo uses the Japanese technique of curing the fish making it more tender and flavorful. Finishing it with lime, lemon, and soy; featuring Wild King Salmon, Japanese Madai, Hamachi and more. Since 1746, the building that houses this tavern has played a part in the establishment of our nation; first as a respite for stagecoach travelers expanding westward and later as a covert rendezvous point for George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, and other leaders of the American revolution. It is believed that during the infamous winter of 1777–1778 at Valley Forge, a major figure in the Continental Army, master military mind Friedrich Von Steuben, designated the tavern as a secret black powder munitions stash for Continental Army couriers.     I got lucky enough to visit here for Valentine's Day, and it was absolutely fantastic! The second we walked in, the vibe was intimate, elegant, and just perfect for a night out. The cuisine was amazing. The service was 10 out of 10, attentive, and made us feel rightly valued. Silky smooth, and we were never hurried. Overall, an amazing experience. I'll be returning for certain. Highly recommend for any special occasion or even if you simply want a top notch dining experience!

    Wow, I’ve never had a dining experience quite like it!!! Staff and service went above and beyond. It was Valentine’s Day, and the staff signed a card for us! The food was so fresh and flavorful. The flavor of that Caesar salad… I’ll be raving about it forever.

    I love this place. Every dish is absolutely mind warping delicious. From the pasta with uni to the dreamy marbelized pink foi grois to that insanely heart of onioin crepe, myself and Rachel could not get enough. The service was wonderful. We loved Enrique. And we love that cozy magically lit home environment. It's our fave.
