Best Historic Restaurants in Beaverton

1/8/2025 - At my age, 77, I have lost my appetite for restaurants and prefer my cooking. The Chart House is an exception to my preference as the restaurant is excellent, like 10 out of 10 on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being best, as to quality of food, presentation of the dish, taste and service. Nothing more need be said.

Fried oysters were great but the popcorn crawfish was pretty well all breading and no crawfish. Crab leg tortellini was excellent as was the NZ Waipahu Sauvignon Blanc

Met two friends for brunch. The bloody Mary's came out quickly and were very good, and our food seemed perfectly timed, and was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Jake's has a very comfortable, familial feel to it. I always feel quite at home there compared to many other restaurants. We had Christmas lunch there and one of my dining companions said the roast chicken was the best he'd ever tasted. The butterscotch pudding for dessert is so creamy and has just a hint of burned sugar to it which is a nice element. Coffee is very good.

We came to the Stockpot on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. We hadn’t been to the restaurant for quite some time, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was fantastic, and our waitress Ms B Lee was amazing. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and Seafood Cocktail and then had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Plank Salmon. Everything was so good! And our waitress, she was so great. Her timing was fabulous and she was so friendly. She really made our evening!
