Best Historic Restaurants in Allendale

We had a lovely lunch at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. The entrees were great—burgers, Cobb Salad and a chicken dish. I didn’t care for the appetizers; warm pretzel was doughy inside and dates wrapped in bacon had very burnt bacon and dates were weird, and not like a date at all. My friend makes these and they are so good. These were not. But everything else was very nice. The server was very very nice and attentive just as you would like. Will return.

Food was amazing. Walnut salad great. Angry chicken parm great. Shrimp/eggplant pasta great++. Service fair.

The food is delicious, the service is amazing. We always have a very nice experience when we go there. Very welcoming & warm ambiance!

Awesome experience Christmas Eve 7:45 PM Place was Rocking Despite this the entire Staff worked At Light Speed and within minutes the Various groups were seated Not long after we had place settings A beverage and bread All the Staff were cheerful The food was excellent and despite our late hour reservation all dishes and specials were available The Restaurant is beautiful- warm and cozy despite its size First time eating out for Christmas Eve Felt like an early Gift Thank you
