The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. Our server was wonderful and the food was amazing - pistachio salmon especially. Feels like a special event. Ambiance was like a nice business lunch in New York..been a while but you get what I mean. Linen tablecloths, positive upbeat vibes, welcoming host, great service. Ok, maybe not like NY, exactly, lol

Our server, Madison was amazing. I am a steak-eater, and my guest is a vegetarian. We were able to put together a filling and gourmet meal of multiple appetizers, entrees and desserts that fit the bill perfectly! The Denver Steak and the Aligot in particular were out of this world. The chocolate cake was impressive, but the chocolate sundae was a great way to wrap up our evening! The team was able to accommodate our request for a quiet, comfortable both. Both my guest and I commented on how unique and classy the interior was, the service, from seating, bar service, to valet was outstanding. P.S. Steak is not a "on the cheap" evening out, but for the experience, quality of service and food it is a bargain!

The restaurant was way to dark. You could not read the menu without a flash light nor could we even see our food. Food and service was good.
