Best Healthy Restaurants in Washington Township

The food and birthday and anniversary surprise desserts were outstanding. I suppose it was a busy night as when I ordered my wine. It arrived 20 minutes later and I was already halfway through dinner. That was my only complaint. Nobody beats the food. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the lobster tail as well. Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and sauté mushrooms were fantastic. Noise level a bit too loud for easy conversation but that would be expected on a busy Saturday night!

The ambiance and service is fabulous! Food is good but way overpriced which is unfortunate. I’d hesitate to return and drop that kind of money on a meal there when I can get as good or even better Mediterranean food at other local places for a much more reasonable price. Although it’s a small thing it bugs me to be charged $2 for extra pita when I’m paying these prices to dine there. This type of minor charge can lose a customer. No one wants to be nickel and dined when 3 people paid a 255 tab including tip.

The Ho Ho Kus Inn is a neighborhood gem -- food is very good, it's got a nice atmosphere, and the service is professional, but friendly. It's nice to have a restaurant like this -- with a liquor license -- in the center of town. The manager was on site and working hard to make sure things went smoothly on the busy night we ate there.

We were sat immediately for our 6:30 Christmas night reservation. Oyster sampler appetizer was fresh and tasty served with horseradish, mignonette,and cocktail sauce. Generous crab stuffing on grilled shrimp for me and delicious lobster sauce on the lobster stuffed sea bass special for my husband. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with a photo worthy waterfall in their side room. Our server did not rush us and was perfectly attentive. Overall we had a lovely dinner and will definitely be back

Great sevice and delicious food with a beautiful presentation. We especially loved the tuna tartare appetizer.
