- EElenaSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were greeted with a warm aloha welcome! The server was friendly and attentive. The bartenders drinks were spot on for the mixes we requested. The ambience and lighting were serene. The food was just absolutely amazing. The ahi tuna entre was seared perfectly. The scallops were scrumptious. The ribeye and short ribs were cooked just right and delicious. I was surprised how well the server and chef were able to modify my entre to accommodate by dietary restrictions. Overall, it was a delightful experience again. We plan to make a reservation every time we visit the big island. Thank you!More infoMeridiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Kohala Coast•4.6
- RReneeColumbus •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis place is top notch. The setting is beautiful. The service was outstanding. The meal was timed out perfectly. The food was fresh and delicious. Honestly the best meal I can remember! It was heaven. The brussel sprout appetizer was amazing! I had the macadamia crusted ono with vegetables and orzo. Highly recommend! My family members had dynamite shrimp and scallops as well as the shrimp and snapper. Everyone loved their dish. We each got a dessert to share. The pineapple upside down cake, chocolate soufflé, and smores cheesecake did not disappoint. If you are in the area and have a special occasion to celebrate or in the mood for a really nice dinner out try Roy’s. It was expensive but well worth the money.More infoRoy's Waikoloa Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikoloa•4.5
- RrichardWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024One of a kind Christmas holiday experience. Very exclusive and one of a kind. The four courses were all designed to pair well with well with sake. The optional sake pairing was super interesting. I was surprised by how different these sakes were, though maybe that has to do with the host making suitable choices for my western tastebuds. Took a bottle of "Anna" home. It was well sealed and packed in bubble wrap, and arrived well as checked luggage (can't take this onboard).More infoEngawa by Islander Sake BreweryPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Kohala Coast•4.9
- DDiannePalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •3 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Highly recommend this restaurant We were a family of 10 and received the best meal and service of our vacation. Our server was friendly attentive and fun. The food was outstanding. There was live music that was enjoyable as background music. Not too loud and a talented musician. Only problem is they are so popular you need to reserve long in advance but well worth the effort.More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.7
