Lovely food and atmosphere, service was good but a few things we had to wait for so maybe just forgotten as they were quite busy.

Once again a wonderful meal at Janet’s. The food is always outstanding. Everything so full of flavour. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated. Diolch yn fawr Janet a Huw.

Visited The Gate this evening with my family for my brother birthday. We all really enjoyed our food, definitely quality and value for money! Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone!

Family of 5 meal out to celebrate a birthday. The food was lovely and the restaurant has a very nice look and feel. Have been there for meals before and never been disappointed. The monkfish in particular was delicious and perfectly cooked: my son who rarely gives praise said his burger was the best he had ever tasted and my husband had the lamb which was outstanding. Just some of the highlights. Whilst it isn’t cheap, you really do get what you pay for

Great food and excellent service. The order was taken and food served very quickly, which I'm glad about as two very large tables were dining the same time as us.
