- AAmyVIPPhiladelphia County •161 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoService solid, kind, and quick! Loved that. Also enjoyed the tacos, vodka penne, and thank you for keeping the black bean burger. It’s so flavorful. However, although the food is generally solid, the choices of veggie sides now just being incredible bitter broccolini or spinach just isn’t great. Im a huge veggie lover, but I left the whole side of broccolini on the plate. Broccoli alone or bringing back the roasted veggies would be a welcome add. Also, the kids Mac and cheese being elevated from Kraft would be appropriate. Or at least make that a side kids can order. Most restaurants make their own in house and it’s appreciated/noticed.More infoIron Hill Brewery - WilmingtonPrice: Moderate• American• Wilmington•4.6

Food is consistently good, new items often appear on the menu and the preparations are always flavorful and interesting. When newcomers move to or visit Wilmington and ask for a restaurant recommendation, I always refer them to Piccolina Toscana because I know they will have a memorable experience. Pasta's are phenomenal, thin crust pizzas are savory and delicious, fish dishes are cooked to perfection and side dishes are always interesting Dan Butler, owner and chef, takes pride in his restaurant and knows what his customers like. He has great take out menus, does catering, and tonight in honor of an Italian Christmas tradition, he included a pre-fixe "Feast of of the Seven Fishes' to his regular menu which is what I ordered. From the tuna tartar to the cod in lemon and the house made fettuccini with spinach, each bite was bursting with flavor. Thank you Dan Butler!! You always get it right!!More infoPiccolina ToscanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.6
- WWilfredVIPPhiladelphia County •82 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Dec 2024Pre-theater dinner. We were quickly seated and our server arrived promptly and cheerfully. Two of us had familiar favorites which did not disappoint, two had new to us combinations involving scallops and shrimp. Both were richly flavored and enjoyable.More infoBanks' Seafood Kitchen & Raw BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.7
- CCynthiaPhiladelphia County •22 reviews4.0Dined on 15 Dec 2024This was basically a nice experience . It was basically empty when we got there but soon became extremely busy and loud so not as relaxing as we had hoped:) Don’t like that they automatically add 20 % tip to bill and then think you should give more??? For just 2 people!! Large group yes but 2? We are usually good tippers so if they had given us the chance the waitress probably would have gotten a bigger tip but adding right away as you bring the bill … NO Thank you!! Doubt we will return even though the cinnamon rolls were amazing !!More infoChelsea TavernPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Wilmington•3.9
- JJoycePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on 10 Dec 2024Such a cute little restaurant. Lots of character. Food was great, very fresh and the presentation was spot on. If you can't make up your mind, go for the Salmon or Grilled Cheese and Coleslaw. Very unusual menu items, especially the large number of natural teas. We were upstairs with a group, and the ambience was very eclectic. First place I've been to in awhile where I could hear the people across the table from me, and not just the person sitting next to me. We will definitely be going again.More infoThe Bellefonte CafePrice: Moderate• Fusion / Eclectic• Wilmington•4.8
