'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. We were celebrating a special occasion and I’d asked for a nice table and was lucky enough to get one. We were then served a glass of Prosecco to mark it. That was a nice touch. Food and service brilliant and not overly priced. Great restaurant.

Staff had been very helpful in increasing the numbers in my booking. Warm welcome on arrival m, the requested sparkling wine was produced immediately. Great service and a lovely evening all round, the birthday choux bun was a thoughtful extra.

Harvey, our waiter was very attentive and showed an interest in the menu choices too making the selection process much easier for all. The setting of the restaurant is fabulous and overall it was such a pleasant lunch. I will be coming back again soon maybe even before Xmas if I can get in. Thanks again.
