At KELP we take our time to make sure the food that goes on your plate is a fresh and local as possible. We source our seafood to be specifically Scottish and sustainable. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers for all our food. The fish people supply our fresh seafood daily. Our bread comes from Soja bakehouse, a family owned bakery in Cumbernauld. Our meat comes from ABR butchers, based in Bearsden. Our executive chef, Christopher Hutchison, creates amazing, innovative dishes to be enjoyed and shared with friends and loved ones. Wonderful food & atmosphere with staff who go above & beyond & seem to be a lovely team. We visited on a Friday evening so got to see the amazing dancers who really put on a great show. One small negative was the drinks service was very slow & could be improved but we still had a really great night & will be back.

This was my first time at Kelp. We had a reservation and were running a bit late so I phoned the restaurant and they helped us find a more suitable time. Once we arrived, the waiter was very attentive and cheery. We ordered from the market menu and it did not disappoint! I loved the evening and will definitely be back!
