Best Healthy Restaurants in Ashland

Overall a nice dining experience. Waitstaff was excellent. Food, some parts great, other just average. Wine, excellent.

The food was absolutely wonderful…the rockfish was perfect. We were in the covered patio area and it was completely wet floor…seems the owners could keep the water out of there. Also, the over heat was miserably hot because it is directly pointed at the tables in the middle. I would recommend not being seat out there during cold or rain.

The Jefferson is one of the few places that remains as an example of old Richmond and I pray they never change. Just listen to the visitors from all over sitting around me and all you hear are people commenting to each other how delicious their meal is. My wife and I have enjoyed an evening there many times and I have tried several of the meals there. Every time it was exceptional. From their Tenderloin to their Rockfish, each meal was a special event. If you are looking for somewhere for a formal occasion like a special date, anniversary, etc. I highly recommend the Jefferson. It is a bit pricey, but the food and service is second to none.

Excellent experience, the entire staff was friendly and professional. Food was as good as would be expected at a restaurant on this level. Great job by the bartender, best Old Fashion I've had, and there have been many. The Filet Mignon was absolutely perfect. I had the special, stuffed Rockfish and it was great. There is a lot of great competition in this arena and we're looking for the best of Richmond. These guys are on the short list.
