The Fishes is a hidden gem. Quite a big gem, too. An imposing Victorian building set in acres of wooded grounds leading down to the banks of Seacourt Stream. The deck that wraps around the conservatory offers a rare opportunity in land-locked Oxford to dine outside with an idyllic view.     Four friends and I visited Pho Oxford yesterday. Me and my boyfriend absolutely love it there (we went the Friday before) and really wanted our friends to try it. The food is seriously outstanding and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I really recommend it for anyone. Just amazing!!

    So often a restaurant menu has very little I actually want to eat. Today at Quod I could have chosen many of the things on the menu! I chose one of the specials, a Caesar salad with king prawn and anchovies. Delicious, very grown up. Then yummy cheeses with crackers, chutney, celery and apple. And a bax colada. Great meal. Wonderful South African waitress. Great ambience. Expensive, but the cost of living crisis is reflected in the increase in restaurant prices.

    We had such a wonderful time at Sticks N Sushi, thank you so much to all of the staff and especially Prachi our waitress. The food, drinks and service was perfect. We especially appreciated how lovely everyone made it for the birthday girl in our party. Really great to have an easily wheelchair accessible restaurant which we all loved.

    Best steak ever. Can’t fault anything here .Only one bad point was we had someone with walking problems and we had a blue badge so we parked in the disabled parking. This is on a slope and no drop kerb to access it so you have to bump up the kerb into a slope. Not the best. Otherwise perfect.
