- KKarenLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLovely meal. Hostess professional and attentive. Found us a table in the bar afterwards. Downside: too many influencer types eating very little but constantly posing and taking photos.More infoThe Ivy Asia, MayfairPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Marble Arch•4.4

- AArabellaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSuch a lovely evening! The food was just incredible, particularly the venison tartare, pork loin and beef cheek. Just amazing. Such lovely staff who were always ready to help and even treated us to a complimentary pudding for our special occasion! The Guinness was also a major highlight. Huge fun sitting near the bar upstairs and watching the cooks create everything. Can’t wait to come back again, thank you for looking after us so brilliantly!More infoThe Lore of the LandPrice: Very Expensive• Gastro Pub• Fitzrovia•4.7

We started with olives and roasted bone marrow, a favourite we order whenever possible, and this was the best we’ve ever had. Accompanying parsley salad was flavourful crunchy and fresh, perfect accompaniment along sourdough toast. For mains we shared grey mullet, grilled shorthorn, white asparagus, green salad and a sublime braised mutton. Everything was superb and we were quite full but couldn’t resist dessert. Both the lemon posset and date loaf with butterscotch sauce were incredible and we ate every last bit. Service was low key excellent and very helpful as we ordered wine by the glass having over imbibed over the weekend and server recommendations were perfect.More infoSt. JOHN SmithfieldPrice: Very Expensive• British• Farringdon•4.8
