Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! Been meaning to go to the Harwood Arms for ages - managed to get a booking for my husband’s birthday. Exceptional food, meaty, rich and delicious. Lovely, relaxed, unpretentiousness ambience in a refreshingly old-fashioned pub atmosphere. Surprisingly reasonably priced. Will definitely go again.
