Best Fun Restaurants in Leavenworth

Loved it ! The waiter was very attentive. It was cozy and we could have a conversation. The food is authentic and good.

Our first time dining at a prix fixe restaurant, with a 7-course sample menu that, much to our surprise, was quite filling. We had expected it to be small bites, but in the end, was plenty of food. Paired with the non-alcoholic elixirs, this was quite the delicious and exciting array of culinary masterpieces. The ambiance was wonderful as it had snowed only days before, so dining out in one of their greenhouse enclosures provided extra charm. They provided ample heat and blankets, as we found out we had ended up being their final outdoor dining table (the rest of the guests had moved indoors). Overall, this was a terrific experience front-to-back, and perhaps during a different season with a different menu, we would love to come back and enjoy this experience again!

We have enjoyed dining (and breakfasting) at Kingfisher at least a dozen times over the years. This was no exception. It remains a welcoming, handsome and comfortable space to visit. The service is friendly, efficient and top notch. The food is delicious. My concerns relate to the pricing. $20+ dollars for a glass of wine is expensive even by Seattle standards. The prices of the entrees aren’t bad (mostly in the thirties), but everything else is extra-vegetables, potatoes. The result is the entree looks very lonely on the plate. Some thought to garnishing (i.e., plating or presentation touches) would be a welcome improvement. And while it’s not uncommon to charge extra for a vegetable dish, an included potato, rice or even fruit element would be helpful. We’ll be back, but I do hope some thought will be given to these well intentioned suggestions.

Food was outstanding. Service top notch. One of our steaks was cooked more than we ordered and they replaced it immediately without us asking. Will definitely be back!!

Fantastic Dinner! Haven is the sweetest gal, the food was to die for, And the service was excellent! Special was a Pot Roast Grilled cheese… you can’t miss it! Fondu is the best in town!
