Welcome to Sarita, where we are slightly obsessed with serving good food among friends and family. Our focus is on healthy, new American cuisine – a celebration of all our backgrounds and roots. The best of the best eats if you will. Lighter dishes with natural reductions, a lot of vinaigrettes, less cream, less butter — but unbelievable flavors. The name Sarita is a nod to Chef Anthony Romano’s mentor, plus the name of a song by the New Orleans band, The Subdudes, one of the chef’s favorites. The restaurant is owned by executive chef Romano. His approach to Sarita is fairly simple: to create a space that’s a reflection of his kind of place.relaxing, fun and celebrate life in the company of friends and family with good food and a great cocktail in hand.

    Holly was a professional who provided very good service to the table. We had a lovely table with a great view of the city and the multicolored lit trees outside. The ambience was awesome-- modern and immaculate with a sense of spaciousness. Even more important, the menu was pretty well marked for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options (although there are some misleading GF labels that should be labeled as GFO). Our entrees were truly delicious -- even our fussy grandsons were impressed. It was a memorable GF birthday experience for my husband.

    Very nice first experience. This is an interesting find and kind of hidden in a speakeasy kind of way. Definitely high energy and quite loud. Two great bartenders behind a very small bar area. Menu is somewhat limited, but does have interesting small plates and wood fired pizza's. Vegan Cream of Mushroom soup was outstanding. Ciabatta sandwich was very good but nothing special. Burrata Pizza had all the right ingredients, but I wish is would have been a bit more charred and crispy. Dough is quite thick, though fresh. Perfect Manhattan hit the spot.

    Wife and I had terrific dinner last evening. Ostrich and scallops appetizers, lobster pasta and mussels saffron pasta entrees all outstanding. Our server Jen was extremely helpful in choosing two bottles of the style of wines we wanted (we took part of each bottle home!). Looking forward to returning to try many other dishes.
