Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. I’d love to thank Jenna for our wonderful experience it was my daughter’s first time there along with my youngest daughter, and friends that had never been. Jenna was so kind, friendly, attentive, courteous and even told us about the special. Jenna made sure we were all taken care of and was around every time one of our drinks were reaching the bottom would come back within minutes and there she was smiling.

Sophie did a great job of taking care of us. Little things like checking on us, as the sushi was coming out slowly. The food was great. My son and his girlfriend had the sushi (BOGO on Mondays) they really enjoyed it. My wife had the the Tuna appetizer, great. I had the Piggy FRied Rice. Very good, but so much food. I took some home. Greeat beer, great ambiance. I recommend the place highly!
