You can't improve on this historic site but now it brims with new confidence and new cuisine. The moment you enter the front door you are greeted with warmth. Very quaint. Still some fall flowers outside although would be prettier in spring or fall with leaves on the trees. Lovely view of the canal on one side and the river on the other. A nice wood burning fireplace. The smoked country pain was delicious.

What a fabulous experience! From the moment we arrived and entered this beautifully appointed and cozy restaurant we knew we were in for a special time. The food was exceptional-each course providing layers of flavor- and the service was excellent. Thank you to the owners, kitchen and wait staff for providing a memorable experience. We already look forward to a return visit!

I had the french onion soup and mac & cheese. The soup was excellent, mac & cheese was okay but not great. My son had the french onion soup and mushroom risotto, which is always excellent! My daughter-in-law had the soup and a wrap. They ordered the bread pudding for dessert, which they said was very good, I had the cheesecake which was also very good.
