Best Fun Restaurants in Downtown / Old Market

It was a great experience. We loved sitting by the kitchen and seeing the magic happen. The staff were engaging and made great recommendations. The food was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

Nestled in the heart of the Old Market, Clio offers a dining experience that instantly transports you to the Mediterranean coast. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and perfect for a family-style meal, which is exactly how we enjoyed it. Our meal began with an assortment of four dips accompanied by fresh, warm pita bread. Each dip was bursting with flavor, setting the stage for what would be a truly memorable meal. For our mains, we shared the chicken kebabs, salmon kebabs, shawarma-spiced half chicken, and lamb tagine. Every dish was impeccably prepared and delicious, but the salmon kebabs were the standout. Their perfect seasoning and tender texture made them the star of the evening. To round out the meal, we indulged in the sticky toffee pudding with date ice cream—a dessert so divine it’s worth a visit to Clio on its own. Special mention to our server, Addison, who provided impeccable service. She was funny, sweet, attentive, knowledgeable, and contributed greatly to the wonderful dining experience. Clio is a gem for anyone looking for Mediterranean flavors served with warmth and flair. Highly recommended!

This was a blast! 10/10 recommend! If you have a group larger than 4, you won't all fit on the bench at the table for bowling, but there is a longer bench behind you can sit on! This is so fun.

Moving to Omaha, Blue Sushi is something recommended high and low! The food did not disappoint. Such array of items to choose from with an unbearable happy hour price every week day! The only complaint I have is that our server forgot half our parties drinks put it at the bar so they were well into appetizers before they were served (and they arrived/ ordered before us) however, the server + manager both apologized and comp’d their drinks. All in all an amazing experience! A little expensive so plan a special occasion or to splurge but we WILL be back!

This was my first time at Ghost Donkey and it was awesome!! Our server was fantastic and so knowledgeable and she answered all our questions! The drinks were delicious and we had so much fun we will definitely be back!
