Atlas Restaurant Group presents Monarque, a French brasserie located in Baltimore’s Harbor East. Monarque is inspired by the French era of prosperity when culture boomed and extravagance flourished. The cuisine is complemented by a beverage program with over 500 French wine labels and an extensive collection of Cognac and Armagnac.Transporting guests to another time and place while being rooted in the present, Monarque hosts a rotation of acts every weekend, with Baltimore's best jazz musicians, cabaret vocalists, burlesque dancers, and more.     Excellently prepared food with a Maryland flavor, plenty of choice from both sea and land. Wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced. Dessert is always a highlight, the house made Candy Bar is a favorite.

    Food is very good, we love the hummus and pita! Very nice waiter, only down side to service is that 2 of us got our meals and it was 10 more minutes before the 3rd person got hers (not the waiters fault). Other than that the service was very good.

    Another amazing experience from start to finish. The customer service regarding allergies before dining was top notch. Our server was phenomenal and our meal was delightful. This was our third year dining here for my husband’s birthday and we are counting down the days until our next visit. Thank you!

    Christmas Day was made very special by Sotto Sopra. From the ambiance of this beautifully decorated 1850 building, to the wonderful staff, each with a smile to greet and serve you. But the food; that was the star of the day! The calamari was exceptional and definitely not you mama's calamari! It's a must have. And the goat cheese salad, amazing! The seafood pasta was loaded with lobster, crab and shrimp, and swirled in a luxurious sauce. The pork shank with risotto was very tasty and very filling. We ordered the the bread pudding and cheesecake to go as we were so full after our meal, and will have it this morning with our coffee. I just know both will be a great start to the day. Thanks to Sotto Sopra for making our Christmas day so special.
