Best Waterfront Restaurants in Greenbrae

We had a wonderful dinner with friends visiting from Seattle. We had a lovely table with a view of the bay and San Francisco. We had cocktails to sit and enjoy the view and talk. I had the macadamia nut crusted petrale which was delicious and my husband had fish and chips, which he said were good. Our friends enjoyed their meals and we ended the evening sharing a hot fudge sundae with coffee. It was a fun night and the service was excellent. Another great thing is the valet parking which made an everything so easy. I highly recommend The Spinnaker.

I wanted to be wowed but left feeling meh. Yes, it was a holiday prix fixe meal, and they were busy, but the food specifically was really sub par. I had the lobster bisque, which was lukewarm, and more like a gravy. I also had the prime rib, which came also cold, thin, and lacking flavor. Dessert was a creme brulee, which also was cold on arrival. I felt like everything was premade and not fired on order. Yes, somethings can be partially premade, but everything here felt like there was no interest in making sure what they served really reflected both the craft of the restaurant and the concerns for the customer.

For Christmas dinner, we showed up on time and waited 45 mins for a table for the prix fixe djnner. Dinner was good. Enjoyed the pasta with crab sauce. All good but not special.

We are Piatti regulars. After suffering through major attitudinal service for brunch at Farmhouse over the weekend, it was so refreshing to have real, friendly and competent service at Piatti. Everyone is on the same team, smiles and pays attention. Simple principles of hospitality! And it feels warm and genuine. Not imposed. Comfort Italian dinner with friends. Loved the montepulciano by the glass paired with the chicken puttanesca. Warm and fuzzy on a wet rainy night. Keep it up!

This whole experience was amazing! Our waitress that just moved to the Bay from AZ, completely stunning and so amazing while taking care of your table. I will for sure be back. If you happen to see this note, please share my message to the young lady.
