    From the check in to the paying the check was very pleasant. I highly recommend the Volcano sushi, Yakisoba, and Cheesecake. The tofu in the yakisoba was a little too soft for my taste, but still would recommend. The service was the best you could hope for in Austin.     Chelsea was a phenomenal server. Delicious food, great recommendations for our choices, made my friend visiting from Cali for her birthday feel really special ( thank you for no awkward singing). Counter seats were great to see the action in the kitchen but the chairs were a bit uncomfortable and had quite a cold draft blowing down. Fully understood it’s needed to keep the kitchen staff feeling cool in front of those hot stoves so will just make sure to reserve a standard table next time. Will definitely be back!

    I loveeeee this restaurant. Food was amazing and we ordered many different items from drinks to sushi. Everything was amazing - staff and our waiter were lovely. Ambiance in this place is unmatched and value for the money is really good. I was raving about our experience all day after lunch and I’m looking forward to whenever we go back!! This was our second time here and it was just as good as I recalled - their takeout options also look amazing so I’m looking forward to ordering from here in the future!! What a great little spot in Austin and I love it very much!!

    We had a wonderful early Valentines date at Verdad. We had hoped for a quiet, intimate table, but this is not the set up for this restaurant. But…..DO NOT STOP READING THIS REVIEW!!! We were seated at a window table in the bar area, and were blown away by the experience. Our server was very pleasant, knew the menu well and presented each item with such flare and creativity! The food and drinks were beyond amazing. It was a pleasantly memorable experience that I highly recommend.
