Best Vegan Restaurants in Burnley

Came November 15th. Booked again Dec 7th, but due to storm Darragh had to postpone to Sun 22nd Dec and cancelled trains. I’m Gluten Free, fabulous choice, was so looking forward to returning due to large choices on GF menu. Great ambiance, staff exceptional service, fabulous location in York to all shops. Would highly recommend to anyone See you again soon/ in the New Year u hope

Excellent food and service. The beef suet pudding was divine! The staff so lovely and attentive. We will be back.

Great vegan ‘Italian’ - yes it’s mainly pizza, but I had risotto and husband had Mac n cheese & calzone, and it was all absolutely delicious. Pud was tiramisu and honestly, 🧑‍🍳 😘 it was a rich creamy coffee taste of heaven. Lovely soft Christmas music playing, reasonably busy, staff were attentive but not over the top, all in all a fantastic place to eat.

The Allotment is a great place for vegan food. I'd really recommend the tapas deal, we shared 5 small plates and they were all delicious. It's a lovely atmosphere and the service is excellent. An oasis of calm amid the noise and bustle of the Christmas markets!

We are a family of four, including two boisterous children. The gentleman who served us absolutely “got the memo” that I needed to discreetly pick the most suitable table to ensure we didn’t disrupt other diners. He was excellent and understanding the boys’ need to be away from other customers and brought us kids menus. The menus seem “slim pickings” but we felt like we had a good selection for our picky kids and us being pescatarian. The cocktail menu was great and we enjoy a few of those. The kids had good sized portions or burger and chicken “nugget” and thick cut chips. We had a selection of veggie sharing plates. All of the food was so incredibly tasty and we felt really full despite the portion sizes looking quite small on arrival. We’d definitely like to return to have more of the menu. We’d just have appreciated a faster service because the kids were getting restless waiting for their puddings. Other than that, this is a very easy place to recommend to others!
