- KKevinAtlanta Metro •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom the warm, friendly greeting upon entering to the farewell wish for a wonderful evening. Marmalade sets the standard for an amazing culinary adventure. I've traveled all around the world and am proud to say Marmalade is one of the only MUST revisit restaurants whenever I'm in San Juan. The menu is unique and pushes your taste buds to their limits. The staff is well educated and very helpful in explaining every dish and every wine pairing (yes, the wine pairing is a must). Reward yourself with someone you could never recreate at home or in any other restaurant. You'll thank me later many times over.More infoMarmalade Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• San Juan•5

The setting is relaxed and open-air, but the highlight of the night was the service—truly top-notch and incredibly attentive. We started with the vegan meatballs and the sampler platter, both solid choices to kick off the meal. For mains, the mofongo stole the show. You can choose (if available)between yuca or plantain as the base. My mom had hers with steak, Elliott opted for the garlic shrimp, and both were flavorful and perfectly cooked. I went for the chicken chicharrones with a side salad—crispy, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Iguanas might be casual, but the food is thoughtful, and the service takes it to another level. A great spot for a laid-back dinner that delivers on flavor and hospitality.More infoIGUANAS COCINA PUERTORRIQUENA – Wyndham Rio MarPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.7
