- CCalebCharlotte •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe decided to do Valentines a day later since we had to work on actual Valentine’s Day. We booked for a 4:30 reservation (the latest they had until 8pm. Which was totally fine. We arrived at 4:20 and had our car valeted since there isn’t street parking. Walked in, were greeted right away- seated and within two minutes our server greeted us with water. He took our cocktail order then told us about their Rendezvous for Two deal, which included an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $55. Our drinks arrived quickly and the app followed within a couple of minutes. We did the Pimento Cheese Dip which was great. Then I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife did the Salmon with Creamy Quinoa. Both portions were great (so much so that I couldn’t finish all mine). We got our dessert to go since we were both stuffed from the large portions. We got the Pecan Pie and oh my goodness it was delicious. Our server was great and super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!More infoTupelo Honey - Uptown CharlottePrice: Moderate• American• Uptown•4.4

Our server, Noelle, was absolutely fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and made our evening even more enjoyable. We went on Valentine’s Day! The ambiance was trendy yet casual. We kicked off our meal with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were a perfect blend of flavors and a delightful start. For my main course, I chose the Halibut Piccata, and it was simply divine! The white wine, butter, capers, and farro paired beautifully with the roasted vegetables. My hubby ordered the Filet & House Goat Cheese Ravioli, and he couldn’t stop raving about the tender filet and the delicious pecan pesto. To top it all off, we enjoyed some amazing cocktails. My husband loved the Stir Old Fashioned and Whiskey Bramble, while I savored the Slack-Jawed Jezebel and Elderflower Sour—both were outstanding! Everything was exceptional—food, service, and cocktails. I wholeheartedly give STIR Charlotte a 5 out of 5! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!More infoSTIR CharlottePrice: Moderate• American• Southend•4.6

- SScottRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.More infoLa Belle HelenePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.6
