- AAlisonWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoService started a little slow, but our server had many tables and it's a Saturday night in DC. Fine after he turned some tables. Food was excellent and came out at a nice pace. Look forward to coming back!More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- LLibbyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •43 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoA holiday dinner with good friends was wonderful ... food wine service! But halfway through the meal a large party of 8 already lit with "cheer" was sat next to us in one of Tabard's smaller rooms and we could no longer hear each other. So we left before dessert. I realize that restaurants can't predict their patrons' behavior but in this instance re had to exit through a nearby small room which was empty and had a table that would have accommodated the group. Too bad!More infoTabard InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Dupont Circle•4.7
- JJoanWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoYesterday evening we celebrated my daughter's 38th birthday at Elizabeth's- and now all of us are ready to go back tonight. The minute you walk in the door of Elizabeth's you feel as if you have been welcomed into a cosy and elegant historical home. We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth and the staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and culinarily multi-talented. And the dinner experience is similar to being served a new piece of artwork with each course. Would I ever be able to replicate the Klamath Return, a kombu-marinated chioggia beet, caraway crisp and celery root, or the Cleopatra's Ambrosia, with sea buckthorn, pink banana sorbet and kinome leaf, or the Velvet Immortal with the saffron pickled enoki mushroom? Not in my wildest dreams. My family normally inhales their food, but this time conversation was at a minimum as we took time to appreciate each new amazing taste sensation. Our party consisted of one vegan, one vegetarian , and two omnivores, and all of us agreed Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in DC.More infoElizabeth'sPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Downtown•4.9
- SSarahWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024Korean fried chicken and perogie appetizers were delicious. Everyone tried something different for entrees and we all enjoyed our meals and exclaimed how good everyone else’s dishes looked. The crème brûlée apple cheesecake was great and the red wine I had was a heavy pour. Not crowded on a Thursday night and our server was really nice. One of the nicest, chillest meals I’ve had in a while. Bravo!More infoFred & StillaPrice: Moderate• International• Dupont Circle•3.8
