- KKatToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoCame here for the second consecutive year to celebrate my birthday tonight. Our second visit was just as delicious and enjoyable as our first. We got the beet salad, halloumi, their flatbread special, bucatini and the walleye. Every single dish had amazing flavour and decent portions. They also gave me a little birthday dessert which was a really nice way to end the meal. The cocktails were also really good-especially “I yam what I yam” was super unique and truly so tasty! Cant wait to come back next year!More infoSelden StandardPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.8
- CCharlesVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •160 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had not been to Mediterrano in a long time, probably not for 12-15 months. And we are sorry it took us so long to get back. Our lunch was delicious. We started with the Minestrone Soup which was light and absolutely delightful. Next, we had the Bread Service and the Village Salad. The Bread Service came with a fantastic soft spread, and the salad was a really great, "Greek like salad", but not their regular Greek Salad, which we always used to order. This salad was way better and we will definitely get it again, even though it was it bit more costly. Finally, we ended with the Chicken Souvlaki Kebab. This was cooked perfectly and a beautiful presentation, as was the salad. Our Server, Spyro, was outstanding. He anticipated our every need, and his timing was perfect. Overall, an outstanding lunch and we will definitely be back.More infoMediterranoPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Ann Arbor•4.7
- SScottVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy college roommate form early 80's and I started reviewing restaurants in the Metro Detroit Area 4 years ago. We have hit 80% of all the top restaurants (over 120) and we both consider Café' Cortina in our top 2-3 restaurants. I am not sure that I would take children under 14 there, only because of the complexity of the menu/food, and it seems like most of the servers have strong accents that are not always easy to understand. With that said I love going there about every 4-5 weeks and trying something different each time. Last night I had lamb chops. They may have been the best I have ever had. I savored every bite. I have had lamb chops at many nice restaurants. There pasta's are all made in house and are always exciting to try a different one. Make sure you save room for desert, as their pastry chef makes some very unique and tasty treats. This is probably one of the least known restaurants in Metro Detroit, a hidden gem for sure.More infoCafé CortinaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Farmington Hills•4.8
