- MMelvaOrange County •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoYou have to try the Chart House for the holidays! Their special holiday menu offered many selections- there was something for everyone! I had the New York Strip steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Others in our party had the Chilean sea bass with lobster risotto and raved about it! The service was excellent and well paced! Our experience at The Chart House made a great Christmas memory! And you can’t beat the view of the Dana Point Harbor! Merry Christmas everyone!More infoChart House Restaurant - Dana PointPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Dana Point / Monarch Beach•4.4

- SSeanWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI went to Mayfield while visiting my parents for the holidays and celebrating a promotion at work. Expectations were high given that I looked at the menu online and thought I would happily eat everything on jt...and they were met and exceeded! One great indicator: 3 days later, my father, who is usually not impressed by restaurants, is still regularly raving to relatives and friends about the Moroccan carrots and grilled broccolini. The baba ganoush and date labneh were amazing to start with (along with the house-baked foccacia), and the beef tagine croquettes and mussels with n'duja also impressed. Dessert was a smooth, silky chocolate crémeux with orange/vanilla-infused olive oil to drizzle on top...just the chefs kiss. Service was friendly and helpful and enthusiastic, and the vibe was cool and relaxed. I look forward to returning on future visits!More infoMayfield- San Juan CapistranoPrice: Expensive• Californian• San Juan Capistrano•4.8

The food was well prepared, a little pricey, but as expected :) View was terrific, we had a central table right at the window and Mikey opened the windows for us upon request so that we could have a simultaneous view and fresh air on this gorgeous day. Lovely lunch!! (Branzino, lobster salad and Cobb shrimp salad all delicious) (Also liked that the valet was free and that I was able to charge my car while dining!) Will definitely be back when next in Laguna (from LA)More infoThe Loft at Montage Laguna BeachPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Laguna Beach•4.8
