Best Vegan Restaurants in Wauconda

I'm not a vegetarian, but I've always enjoyed eating at the Blind Faith Cafe. The food is always fresh, well prepared, and tasty, and the service is excellent. There were four of us on my last visit, and we were all happy with our meals. I thought the spinach lasagna was outstanding, and would order it again.

We’ve passed through Eden on multiple occasions, noticed it when taking my Lab to MedVet & Eye Care for Animals. Staffers remembered our Anniversary (week) celebration (I forgot the note on the reservation 😛). We didn’t anticipate the complimentary beverage. Most establishments don’t offer anything these days, we really appreciated the gesture. Drinks are strong, I went w/ Manhattan, wifey w/ Hot Toddy. Food was great. I opted for Burger w/ Fries, wifey ate Duck Banh Mi w/ Eden Salad. I’m not a big fan of Kale but the side Salad was amazing!!

Delicious vegan food creatively prepared and plated. Wonderful cocktails and warm inviting ambiance. My only comment is the prices. Yes, it’s Winnetka, so there’s that, but I cook vegan every day and know that the food doesn’t cost nearly that much. The markup here is exceptional. Worth it perhaps to be able to go to a restaurant and order ANYTHING on the menu ( what a treat!), but I will not be able to go very often because of the extremely high costs.

We had a fabulous time. We mentioned that our beet salad was not warm. ( Cold was delicious anyway. ) Chef / owner immediately replaced it. Came to the table and apologized that it should never be served cold then took it off the bill. We told him it was not necessary to do so. He told us he expects meals to be perfect. My wife and I have dined here many times and have never been disappointed. Great staff. My favorite restaurant by far.

Phenomenal service, food, and cocktails. The fish in the banana leaf is a must-order, and the biriyani is excellent.
