Had an absolutely amazing time at Alo, everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and professional. Loved being able to get a little insight into seeing the kitchen work and all of the attention to detail everybody focuses on each dish. Yes it is a tad expensive to eat here but worth every single penny

Food was good- integrated and balanced flavours. We got the Grilled Halloumi, Lamb Croquette, Wagyu Carpaccio, Sea bream, fries and Grilled beets (very good). Service was great- Michelin worthy for sure. Accidently dropped my napkin and the server immediately picked it up and gave me a new one, water always refilled and orders came out reasonably quick. Ambience was lovely- not too loud. Has an open kitchen which is always nice and entertaining in itself.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing vibe. For a fancy place it was well worth the money. Even though I felt like it was a tad bit more expensive than normal.

Amazing food, amazing space amazing staff and most importantly amazing people from Isabo, to Omar, to Sadie, the whole experience was amazing start to finish if you want a different type of cuisine on king street that packs a bunch of flavour with a staff that will keep you smiling the whole way through look no further !

We finally tried Alo after hearing much great things. We sat at “The Bar at Alo” for a St-Valentines fixed menu. The Service was outstanding from all staff and the food / cocktails were indeed deserving of their Michelin Star. Ambiance and decor in the bar area was a bit dark for our taste. I found the prices to be a bit steep, but not outside the norm at this level. The wine pairing was interesting and will get two of their featured bottles. However, I wonder why they chose to feature a US bottle in their pairing at this particular time. Overall great experience, will likely try their main dining area in the near future.
