- EElizabethSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic: fresh, delicious and unique. Service was top notch and it was a fun environment. Cocktails were tasty. Price-wise it’s expensive but worth it! I especially enjoyed the chazuta dessert, and my significant other particularly enjoyed the skewers (really great flavor).More infoAmazoniaPrice: Very Expensive• Peruvian• Mount Vernon Square•4.7

- KKevinVIPWashington, D.C. Area •47 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was a nice quiet atmosphere for a lunch with friends. I’ve had many pleasant experiences at La Tomate and this was no exception. One suggestion is to give diners more time to review the menu before ordering. Overall, though, a very nice meal and surroundings. I need to remember that this oasis is right in my neighborhood and I should go more often.More infoLa TomatePrice: Expensive• Italian• Dupont Circle•4.8
- DDarrenColumbus •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLongtime patron writing first review here. Lyon Hall consistently turns out a great menu and is my number one choice in the Arlington/DC area to take friends and clients for dining and drinks. Cocktails are always on point (I had a Boulevardier recently that was spot on; the Paper Plane to Paris is also a tasty version of the original) and their wine/beer list is approachable. Surprisingly, there were no sour beers on menu, so perhaps they have removed them for now (?). My date wanted a sour beer but ended up with the cider, which was tasty and perfectly dry, just what she wanted. This visit I ordered the 3-cheese board and pretzel appetizers and both were tasty: pretzel was large enough to share for sure and arrives with three spreads; the cheese board was well-presented and not fussy: sour cherries, candied nuts, delish toast points...a great value and solid starter. For entrees, the duck breast and roasted chicken were ordered, both cooked perfectly and were the perfect portion size for a hungry diner (although not overly large; if you are famished, perhaps an appetizer or filling up on their incredible bread would be advisable). In recent visits, I've ordered the wild boar ragu; the risotto; the pork schnitzel...all very Fall-y, warm and well spiced. Ambience is modern-professional but not cold and at times can be a bit noisy (especially in the bar area). Staff is friendly: Dana came by our table to ensure that everything was up to par and wished my date a happy birthday. Our server was friendly, provided good suggestions and immediately checked when unsure of an item (the sour beer) and its availability. I'd highly recommend Lyon Hall for dining, drinks in a classy environment or their catering. In my 15 years in Arlington, they've never missed.More infoLyon HallPrice: Moderate• French• Arlington•4.7
