Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in McPherson Square

The mussels in a white wine butter sauce ($19) and bread with whipped butter (free appetizer) were phenomenal. I cannot recommend the mussels enough; they were better than the mussels that I had at Bistrot du Coin in Washington, DC. I do not recommend the Lyonnaise potatoes, which were just roasted potatoes with bacon and onions, as a side dish as it was dry and not a good value ($8).

Went there pre-theater and it was very enjoyable. Pizza was excellent and the pumpkin ravioli stood out. I’d also recommend the red sangria. It’s not as sweet as some but still excellent. Overall would definitely go back and recommend it to others.

Lovely classic Italian food, wonderful service, cozy ambience, and it was easy to hear each other at the table.

Joe's is a family favorite because not only is it reliable and consistently good food but the service and staff are wonderful. Many have been there since it's opening which is especially nice for those of us that like to go often. It is great for business lunches as well and family celebrations and date nights.

You must try the tiradito with leche de tigre and the pork belly anticucho, both amazing!
