Best Restaurants for Spicy Food in Downtown

Really great experience. I heard about the place on the Houston Chronicle Top 100 restaurants and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent! (Corn fritters and chicken dish as appetizers and the fish curry for the main course.. Thai tea to drink). The service was also excellent. Very attentive wait staff! I will absolutely go here again!

Food and the ambiance was perfect. We went for dinner on a Friday night and there was a DJ. Food was so flavorful but I wasn’t a fan of my drink. But, overall it was a great experience and will definitely return.

We went to Pico's on January 14 at around 3 pm. We had a wonderful dinner. Being at the time of day when the lunch crowd is gone but the dinner crowd isn't there, the restaurant's ambiance was quiet but not dead. There were other people there but not every table was occupied. We both ordered the catch of the day prepared in the Veracruz style. The fish was simply delicious and obviously very fresh. The service provided by F. Salmon was perfect. He was prompt, courteous, and friendly. All in all, it was a perfect dinner.

My server, Tiffany was a jewel! She was so happy and pleasant. I love the Simple Salad and can't leave without the meatballs on top of the best polenta I've had. The icing on the cake is the iced tea...I think it's a black currant flavor and it may be my favorite in Houston. (and I drink a lot of tea)

First time visit for our son's birthday, we knew music was starting at 7pm which we were looking forward to but didn't start until closer to 7:30pm. The menu is ok, dessert was a bit limited - no icecream - you guys must miss big time when families bring their kids. Rustic burger no lettuce or tomato, I thought it was a bit odd but my son thought it was perfect 😂
