Our two-story fish emporium elevates the 40-year legacy of our original location in Chestnut Hill (a few doors down from where we are now).     Sycamore creates consistently excellent food and drinks. Last night's boudin blanc is a treasure -- only prepared in December, and it runs out in early January -- is it a delicate, flavorful white sausage that is like eating soft clouds of umami. So good! Also, the lamb two ways was exceptional -- small rack plus lamb confit wrapped in dark leaves, served on a flavorful couscous. They also happily prepared a vegetarian version of their gemelli carbonara, with chunks of squash and forest mushrooms. Bartender Scott remains a standout -- makes great drinks and is funny and whimsical. Owner Dave was gracious, as always. We have been to Sycamore time and time again, and they never disappoint.

    This was a great experience from first minute to last - great hospitality around excellent food! We were early, seated quickly and with preferences accounted for. We had scoped six dishes in advance and opted out of one when a waygu Big Mac was offered - a most try! Server knew the menu, understood her role to guide discovery and make sure we had a great meal - 10/10 recommend! Had scallops which were amazing, different than other preparations, and truly stood out. Brussels were his favorite, and were flavorful with a maple item underneath that made it work! Risotto, alcapurrias, and mussels with lobster (only ok) rounded it out with donut dessert. Really really solid and different. Chef Chris came by to say hello - you should too, truly worthy of reputation and ranking!

    Always my favorite place to go to! Had friends visiting from Toronto and just had to bring them here. Fun vibe and great food! Mushroom risotto, pizza, kale Cesare salad, roasted chicken all amazing!!! Great service too:)

    Experiencing our 63rd anniversary was special. The steaks were incredible and like nothing else we’ve experienced! The service and atmosphere were so spectacular. We have celebrated yearly with Capital Grille and hopefully will continue! We were treated to a complimentary dessert and had our photo taken as well!
