Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Ridgefield

Posa is certainly a diamond in the rough. It is tucked away behind a strip mall and looks so pretty as you come upon the entrance. Inside it is warm and inviting. We went on a Monday evening, and never expected it to be busy, but it was. As more and more people came in, the noisier it became. Thankfully, the host was gracious and methodical is seating customers, so we never had anyone right on top of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They make their own pasta every morning, so it is obvious a lot of effort goes into each plated dish. The wine list is amazing, with bottles from many different regions ranging from $50 to $1700. The service left a bit to be desired - I believe they were understaffed, perhaps not planning for many customers. Our waiter, although nice as can be, was a little confused about our order and we had to wait quite a while for our drink order to be taken. All that said, we will definitely go back and recommend to others because the food was THAT good. And I am confident their service will improve.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in New York. Had to book pretty early in advance due to the Valentines Day weekend rush, but got a lovely early afternoon spot. The atmosphere was so elegant & classy. Our waitress Mary Alice was so kind, accommodating, and overall such a pleasure to interact with. Yes it is pricey, but the experience and the quality of the food/tea was well worth it.

Everything perfect however the upcharge for Valentine s Day pre fix , double any other night was a bit steep. Will be returning on regular nights not holiday prefix anymore

What a find. We live no where near South Salem, but saw this place on Facebook and decided to give it a try for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had no real expectations, but it had to exceed any we MIGHT have had. The food was delicious and the decor warm and welcoming, BUT the best thing about the la Vista was the wait staff. Everyone one of them showed that they truly love what they do. They all were so attentive. We liked it so much we're going back next weekend wand we're bringing some family with us.
