Very cozy ambience — it was a 1 story house converted into a restaurant — can feel a bit cramped. It’s part of the charm and intimacy. Mostly 2-4 tops. There’s one 6-top. From the moment we walked in, the host greeted up promptly and sat us right away, then Daniel was superb. His knowledge of the menu and explanation of everything was spot on, his attitude was very professional yet very kind, and just his attention to detail is something to rave about. The food was amazing, everything perfectly seasoned and prepared to perfection. Highly recommend the Wagyu dumplings, octopus, hamachi, and of course all their steaks. We’ve eaten there many times and the food was, as usual, delicious. We never felt rushed, and we never felt neglected! The other story is that when I made this reservation, the system had no tables for 6 available at the time I needed, so I grabbed one for 4 and one for 2. I wrote a brief comment to Hudson House - Lakewood that it was a disappointment. Within an hour I received a notice and an updated email that my reservation had been changed to 6!
