- LLeanneWashington, D.C. Area •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur 1st time eating there based on friends' recommendations for our anniversary dinner. They weren't wrong. Atmosphere was pleasant & elegant. Service was great overall, and Roger, our main server, was outstanding. He explained many options & choices for drinks & food. Every course was delicious from the wedge salad, which was big enough to share, filet steak and scallop dish, plus shared crispy brussels sprouts. The deep dish peanut butter pie was yummy-good. We enjoyed a leisurely meal - not rushed or hovered-over. Kudos again to Roger and all staff that serviced our table and hostess staff that started us off.More info16 Prime Steak & SeafoodPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Denver•4.7

Let me start by saying that we enjoy dining at the Foundry about twice a month since they opened. We are not residents at the property, yet always feel right at home while dining. I had ordered the Millionaire turkey burger with a GF bun. I have ordered this exact meal several times in the past and been very pleased. However, today it was sub par. Our server, Christine, checked on our meal shortly after it was delivered to the table. She inquired how the food was and I hesitated to reply. I replied that it was not the high quality that it normally was. Nonetheless, Christine was was quick to offer to make it right. In fact, she suggested an alternate to the turkey burger by asking if I was interested in the black bean burger. I chose to try the black bean burger and it was excellent. A couple things, I appreciated the offer to try an alternate burger and that she wanted to make sure that I had a meal that I would enjoy. I never ever send a meal back to the kitchen, and I mean never. The black bean burger was excellent, the GF bun was very good(tender & didn’t fall apart) in the first couple bites. Overall, another great meal at The Foundry. Christine was not only pleasant but her service was exceptional, well done. Bottom line, The Foundry gets it right every single time! Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the incredibly warm reception by Serenity. She is such a perfectly kind soul who receives guests with a kind smile. Well done Foundry, well done.More infoThe Foundry at Trilogy® Lake NormanPrice: Moderate• American• Denver•4.7

The special menu had enough choices to have something for everyone, and the food was delicious and service was excellent. The prices were elevated for the Valentine’s Day , which I do understand. Gotta make that money . I get it. Some of the prices did seem excessive though. For example , one small crabcake (maybe 3 oz) was $19. The filet mignon offering looked like a pretty modest cut , maybe (5-6 oz precook). I guess I’m just saying for $100, per person , the food was very good , but I don’t know that I would say a great ‘value’. They definitely marked up for the holiday.More infoChurch and Union - CharlottePrice: Expensive• American• Uptown•4.6
