Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Cardiff By The Sea

Went on Thanksgiving and though we did not have turkey for dinner the experience was fantastic and the service was just wonderful. Great food, friendly staff, what more could you want. Our table was perfect in a quieter area surrounded by glass, perfect for my hard of hearing father who is 95 years old. Just the perfect evening!

We expected a Thanksgiving 3pm dinner to be loud, busy and crowede and were not surprised that it was as expected. What trumped all that, however, was great service and good food, as we've come to expect at Chart House. Thanks to Brannon and the chefs, we had a memorable Thanksgiving dinner.

Reservation is as easy and there was no wait, ambience was perfect, food was great and service was excellent. Three of us had the prime rib (very tasty and cooked to perfection), one had the mahi mahi and loved it, and the other one had a vegan dish and very happy with it. We shared the calamari and Brussels sprouts and had the hula pie, peanut butter torte, pumpkin pie - all excellent. Thank you for staying open for Thanksgiving.

The food and the service here is above and beyond excellent. A bit pricey, as is everywhere else. Our only discomfort was the noise level - it was difficult to carry on a conversation. But this is one of our favorite go-to places and so will return - and highly recommend it!

I love the big dining room upstairs where I can look out to the ocean. Also, I used the ramp at the back for the first time because, at 85, the stairs are getting treacherous for me. I love Ki's!
