The atmosphere, service and menu are consistently welcoming, consistently comforting yet fresh. We have our favorite menu items and there is always an interesting new dish or twist somewhere to try. The most extraordinary thing about this restaurant, however, is the consistent staff. This is a big deal. It means the back of the house must have some agency, they must be taken care of well. It means they genuinely know what they’re serving, care about your comments, questions, critiques.  It is no longer common to have a restaurant experience where a team are doing work they’re proud of, and to the best of their abilities, presenting it to you . Also, Justin was our server last night and he was fan-freaking fantastic !!! Our server Zach was a delight, fun, funny, etc. Food recommendations turned out phenomenal, I had the special, some sort of Kansas City dry aged steak which was cooked perfectly. Drinks were good, desert drinks were also great. Would love it to be cheaper, but that's the cost of a great dinner.
