Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Amityville

Mercato Kitchen & Cocktails is a great place to dine. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and professional and the atmosphere is family friendly, comfortable, fun and lively. Although very busy, the staff was attentive and efficient and the food was served in a timely manner. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely dine there again.

I had the best anniversary dinner at Toto’s last night! We sat in the angel room and it gave me the feeling like I was eating over someone grandmothers home, the ambiance was immaculate. There was a man who started off on the keyboard and eventually sang too and it was so nice. It was the perfect background music, I hate when the music is so loud you can’t even have a conversation. I got the white margarita and my husband got the smoked old fashion. The presentation of the old fashion was so cool! For an appetizer we got the French onion soup and the Brussels sprouts both on the specials list. The Brussels sprouts were the best I’ve ever had! They were brussels sprouts, caramelized onions, balsamic vinegar glaze and walnuts. The French onion soup was also really good, me and my husband shared it. For our entree we got the prime steak for two and it was cooked perfectly. We also had the mashed potatoes for our side. I was so full I couldn’t eat another bite but my husband got the carrot cake and he fought to finish it all. We will absolutely be back soon!

Wonderfully decorated for the winter holiday season, warm cozy fireplace, comfortable ambiance, and delightful host. Along with the delicious food and cocktails it is a great place to dine.

This place is my new favorite spot. I love the atmosphere and the food. Wait staff is always excellent. I highly recommend it. Get the spicy rigatoni ala vodka

Christmas day menu had so many items to choose from. Everything was hot and delicious. The server was very friendly and remembered everything. Atmosphere was packed noise was loud but ok and it was so nice and warm. We felt cozy. Had a wonderful experience for our first Christmas Day meal out. We came for Mother's Day and had the same experience which is why I continue to go back. Love this place.
