Best Seasonal Restaurants in Wilmington

La Fia may just be the best restaurant in Delaware. The dining room is inviting and unpretentious, but the food ranks right up there with some of the best spots in Philadelphia. I have never had a bad dish here - the menu rotates seasonally but there are some stand-out staples that remain, such as the duck leg confit. The servers are incredibly knowledgable and personable. While there are bigger-name, more publicized restaurants down the street, La Fia is a hidden gem where you can have a quality meal for a reasonable price.

The dining experience was overall pleasant, with a notable emphasis on the quality and presentation of the dishes, befitting a fine dining establishment. However, there is room for improvement in the service, particularly regarding the efficiency of taking orders and reducing wait times. While it is understandable that the preparation of high-quality meals requires time, a more streamlined process for placing orders would enhance the overall experience.

We've been going to Capers almost every Sunday for the last several years. We sit on the beautiful, quiet, climate-contolled patio. We love all the waiters, but Rick is our favorite. My recent go-to menu items are the arugula salad and the lasagna (or Summer Corn Agnolotti in the summer). I'm hoping that they bring back Butternut Squash or Acorn Squash Agnolotti...YUM!

Food was great. Service was kind but inefficient. Never bought back requested items. 20% service fee automatically added… didn’t like that. Convenient for pre-show at the grand.
