At the end, the chef came and introduced himself and brought us an extra dessert which was a real treat. I could not be happier with the experience and meal. Will definitely be sharing with my friends and family. Hope to be back again in the future.More infoCataniaPrice: Expensive• Italian• La Jolla•4.8
- SSharonSan Diego •29 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was my second visit in 3 weeks. Today there were 3 of us - I and 1 of my guests were here with me a few weeks ago- a business reunion of sorts after a decade. Today, I invited another friend who also knew my guest. Both were, or are elected officials at some time in their careers. Both times I had the Thai Peanut salad and the Doctor Mule cocktail. Both were as outstanding and flavorful as they were on my first visit. My guests were both pleased with their choices. To be honest I don’t remember what they ate. The tall ceilings make it a little difficult to hear- but not impossible. I will return.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - San Diego UTCPrice: Expensive• American• La Jolla•4.5
- BBobWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe travel around the country and try to make the dining experience part of our vacation. We had learned about red O the last time we went to San Diego and didn’t have time to experience the restaurant. So we made a point of it this year. I will say that it has to be one of the best restaurants we’ve ever had the pleasure of dining. We come from a state that serves a lot of beef and I will say that the 18 ounce ribeye was better than anything I had from our home state. My spouse had the half a pound lobster and it was done to perfection. So I highly recommend anyone experiencing this restaurant if they have the opportunity. The weight staff was incredible. And we will definitely put in our plans for next time we’re in San Diego.More infoRED O Taste of Mexico - La JollaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• La Jolla•4.4
